Hey,
I sometimes scan in a pretty dark room. I noticed that if I start a turntable calibration in the dark the calibration page doesnt toggle the projector on. This causes the calibration card to not be detected.
The screen before this has the projector on, so I can see the card. Hit calibrate, projector turns off.
Possible to toggle this?
The projector has a strong directional light that causes reflections on the card, so we rely on ambiant light to calibrate the turntable. However the newest nightly release has a partial fix for this that should alow for the camera to see in darker environments when calibrating. To subscribe to nightly beta updates, go into "check for updates" in the main menu, and click subscribe.
If the environment is very dark (pitch black), we suggest turning on the lights to calibrate the turntable.
